Theater
I am a theater student as well as a member of my high school improv troupe. I love theater for the sense of community. I can be myself and take risks in a safe and supportive environment.

I regard the theater as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.
- Oscar Wilde
The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet - actor
I really enjoyed playing both Lady Capitulate and Monk Larry in this hysterical reimagining of Shakespeare's well-known play.
Scriptwriter: Peter Bloedel
When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors - actor
I had so much fun playing the Scarecrow in this hilarious play about the world's worst production of the Wizard of Oz. I particularly enjoy comedic plays. Scriptwriters: Ian McWethy and Jason Pizzarello
Desdemona in the Afterlife - actor
I played the angel/messenger in this visceral one-act play. Set in the realm of Purgatory, the all-female cast of Shakespeare's Desdemona, Emilia, Juliet, Lady Macbeth and Ophelia explore the roles women choose in their pursuit of love and self-identity. Scriptwriter: Nelly E. Cuellar-Garcia 2016
Improv troupe - member
I am a returning member of the high school improv troupe. We practice twice a week and have regular shows. I love it for the challenge and the freedom.
Theater production
Sometimes my two passions intersect. This is a poster illustration for a school production of Winnie the Pooh.
